​The good people at Scheels Overland Park saw one of our great Homecoming videos highlighting our goal to make St. Peter's playground more accessible for all. On Wednesday, they delivered a check for $35,000 to help us reach that goal! (A match to the proceeds of our Homecoming fundraiser) Thank you to Scheels, and to all who have supported this project with donations, ideas, planning, and prayers.

Upper Room KC, which provides aftercare for St. Peter's School, has openings for youth development leaders. You could work right here with STP kids! Here are the details:
Paid Position: Youth Development Leader
Locations: Openings at St. Peter's, Académie Lafayette, Holy Cross School
Schedule: 2:30 pm - 6:00 pm, Mon-Fri (coincides with the school calendar)
 
The Role:
-Build meaningful connections with students, helping in areas like reading and homework
-Lead engaging and educational activities
-Support and enhance the overall skill sets of students

The Scholastic Fall Book Fair is this week, on Wednesday, Nov. 8 and Thursday, Nov. 9. Students will visit with their classes, and the fair will be open until 4pm on both days.
