 We will be collecting food for our STP food pantry during Catholic Schools Week 2024. Please see the list below for what each grade is donating. Bins will be placed in the lobby and will remain there through Friday, 2/2. We have 2 goals for this food drive: 1- Restock the food pantry and 2- Casserole Items! Grade level suggestions are listed below. ECLC – Breakfast Cereal KINDERGARTEN – Canned Meats (Tuna, Chicken, Ham) 1st Grade: - Crackers (Saltine, Graham, Snack) 2nd Grade - Canned Fruit (Mixed, Pears, Oranges, Peaches) 3rd Grade – Jams and Jelly 4th Grade - Chunky Soups 5th Grade - Pasta Shells, Egg Noodles, Elbow Macaroni 6th Grade - Pasta Sauce 7th Grade – One Can Meals (Spaghetti, Ravioli, Stew) 8th Grade – Canned Meats (Tuna, Chicken, Ham)  Prepare the Way for Christmas in a new way. We will dive deeper into the liturgical season of Advent through the weekly Gospels with a focus on Hope, Peace, Joy and Love! November 30, December 7, December 14, December 21 : 3:30-4:30.  The Women of St. Peter's are doing a deep cleaning of the church on Saturday, Dec. 17th, from 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM to prepare it for Christmas services. All help is appreciated! Supplies are provided, and you can stay for as little or long as you are able. It's a great way to meet other moms as well as other women in the parish.  Save the Date for St. Peter's 2nd Annual Trunk or Treat, Saturday Oct. 29, 5-7 pm in the south parking lot. Families are invited to reserve a parking spot and decorate their trunk, or just bring the kids to trick-or-treat. Costumes are encouraged, and all are invited to this free event (donations of bags of candy to share are welcome). To reserve a parking spot, please contact Katie Maher.
 The Keys Choir is for children in grades 2-8. Dr. Helena Vasconcellos (Dr. V) is returning as director and is eager to get the kids all back together. Rehearsals will be Thursdays after school 3:30-4:45 p.m. Sign your child or children up using this form; we will follow-up soon with calendar, including start date.  Children are invited to bring their backpacks to the 9 and 11 a.m. Masses this Sunday, Aug. 21, for a special Backpack Blessing. Please join us in offering prayers of encouragement, wisdom, and safety for all students. (Backpacks are optional.)
 Our annual food drive on wheels is outdoors again this year, and we are collecting donations over 3 weekends, with Saturday Nov. 6 designated as Kidz Cranksgiving. Get your group together and bring your food pantry donations to the Legacy parking lot, 10am-3pm. Ride bikes, walk, come by car, make it a scavenger hunt, ask neighbors to pitch in, shop that day or ahead of time--make it whatever you want it to be. Nov. 6 doesn't work for you?  PaLS (Parents and Little Spirits) is a new St. Peter’s group focused on connecting families with small children. The group gathers on Wednesday mornings, 8:45-10 a.m. in the Church for 20 minutes of Adoration, catered to little ones through music and storytelling, followed by coffee and playtime either outside or in the nursery, depending on the weather.
