St. Peter's ECLC Student will present their annual Christmas program on Tuesday, Dec. 19 at 11am in St. Peter's Church. Please join us!

Please join us for our annual Christmas Concert on Thursday, Dec. 7 in the church. There will be two performances: 
Afternoon: Prelude performances begin at 1pm, concert begins at 1:30pm (doors open at 12:45pm)
​Evening: Prelude performances begin at 6pm, concert begins at 6:30pm (doors open at 5:40pm)

St. Peter's is collecting new and gently used coats, hats, mittens, gloves and boots in all sizes and for all ages. Please leave donations in bins in the school lobby and church through Dec. 16. Donations will go to the Don Bosco Center and Catholic Charities.

Upper Room KC, which provides aftercare for St. Peter's School, has openings for youth development leaders. You could work right here with STP kids! Here are the details:
Paid Position: Youth Development Leader
Locations: Openings at St. Peter's, Académie Lafayette, Holy Cross School
Schedule: 2:30 pm - 6:00 pm, Mon-Fri (coincides with the school calendar)
 
The Role:
-Build meaningful connections with students, helping in areas like reading and homework
-Lead engaging and educational activities
-Support and enhance the overall skill sets of students

Our Fall Food Drive continues all week. Can you help us restock the food pantry? Here is a list of items we need, with grade-level suggestions for school families. THank you for your generosity!
ECLC: Jell-O and pudding (dry mixes & shelf-stable cups)
Kindergarten: Saltines, snack crackers, graham crackers
1st grade: Mac n Cheese
2nd Grade: Cake, cookie and brownie mix
3rd grade: Chunky and hearty soups (beef and chicken)
4th grade: Canned fruit (mixed fruit, peaches, pears, oranges, pineapple)
5th grade: Pasta sauces and diced tomatoes
6th grade: Corn bread and muffin mixes
7th grade: Breakfast cereal, single-serve oatmeal, breakfast bars
8th grade: Canned meats (tuna, checken, Spam, ham)

If you don't want the hassle of school supply shopping, you can order online! This year we are using a company called Yubbler. Everything you buy will get shipped directly to your home and you will bring it in on supply drop off day. School supply lists are posted here; please be sure to read to the bottom of your grade level list to see if there are any items that you need to purchase on your own!

​Please plan on attending our class assignment and form completion day event on Thursday, August 8, 2023! This event will be open house style from 2-6pm in the gym. This will be a day for all families to turn in completed forms, required documents, and receive students’ homeroom placement. Families may also add money to student(s)’ prepaid lunch accounts, purchase STP pencil bags, ECLC school bags (if needed) and used uniforms. This is also a time to learn about school and parish committees, volunteer for fundraising events, and receive a packet of school wide information.

Only one parent or guardian is required to attend. Students may join but this is not required. Most teachers will not be on campus at this time and there will be no classroom access.

Registration is underway for children who will be entering Pre-K (4 year old class) and Kindergarten in the Fall of 2023. The season runs on Saturday mornings from May 13th to June 24th. Don’t miss out on this great opportunity to meet new and old St. Peter’s friends before the start of the school year!
